Reward offered in bank robbery

WOODS CROSS — A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the identification, apprehension and conviction of those involved in a bank robbery in Woods Cross.

The reward is being offered by Wells Fargo Bank in conjunction with the Utah Bankers Association, according to the Woods Cross Police Facebook page.

Three men allegedly robbed the Wells Fargo Bank at 2440 S. Highway 89,  Woods Cross on Sept. 13 at 1:37 p.m.

Two of the men were allegedly armed with handguns and ordered bank tellers away from the cash tills. A third man, who was allegedly unarmed, helped take an undisclosed amount of cash from the tills..

All three wore ball caps and bandanas over their faces, police said. They also wore zip-up hooded sweatshirts. One of the suspects was wearing khaki colored pants.

A fourth person was allegedly waiting outside in a red or maroon older passenger car.
