Sahara Construction adds Bountiful staff

BOUNTIFUL – Six new professional staffers have been named to Sahara Construction’s Bountiful office.

They are: Kevin Birch, project superintendent; Scott Christiansen, estimating and preconstruction services manager; Brigham Latimer, business development manager; David Rees, project engineer; Brian Richards, estimator; and Scott Webber, project manager.

“Sahara is moving into the future with some exciting opportunities ahead of us,” said Melissa Wallentine, Sahara vice president, in a company-issued press release.

The Davis County-based business has been  in operation for 28 years. It has been involved in the design and construciton of commercial, industrial, institutional, retail and residential projects through the Western U.S., including Davis County.

In addition to its commercial endeavors, Sahara’s nonprofit SaharaCares Foundation, works to help children in need in the community. The charity’s particular emphasis is projects for children with autism.
