BOUNTIFUL — The final vote on a policy for random drug testing in Davis County schools is on the agenda for the Davis School Board’s Tuesday, April 16 meeting.

The board is considering incorporating the random tests for students involved in extracurricular activities.

This week’s board meeting will be held at Holbrook Elementary, 1018 E. 250 North, in Bountiful, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The agenda does not allow for public comment. Those interested in providing input for board members can email Pamela Stavros, legal administrative assistant, at pstavros@dsdmail.net.

Also on the agenda is the first reading of a policy that would allow no exceptions for ninth graders who want to play sports with a high school team outside the boundaries of the high school they would normally attend.
