LAYTON — Scott Ashby Denning, 36, passed away peacefully due to natural causes on Friday, April 20, 2012.

Scott was born October 29, 1975 in Bountiful, Utah, the son of Nathan Dean and Karen Ashby Denning. He attended Bountiful High School and has resided in Layton for the last seven years.

Scott was married in the Bountiful Utah Temple to Kristi Jenson on May 8, 2004. They were parents of three beautiful children.

Scott was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a two year mission to Billings Montana. He worked in the Banking and Insurance industries for many years.

Scott enjoyed household projects and serving others. More than anything he loved and cherished his wife and children. His family was his most priceless treasures. All his energy and time was spent with them and taking care of them.

Surviving are his wife Kristi; mother Karen; children Mckaden, Macie and Kyson; siblings, Michael, Marc (Betty), Dianne, Linda, Wayne (Julie), Richard (Camille), Joseph (Stephanie), David (Heather). He was preceded in death by his father Dean.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 North Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 12:45-1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.
