KAYSVILLE -- Those who might need some additional tips or training for themselves or others at their business will soon have an opportunity for both. Beginning in January 2006, the Davis Applied Technology College Employer and Com-munity Education Department will be offering free monthly business seminars the second Friday of each month. The first seminar, "Bullying in the Workplace," will be the first in the 2006 Business and Bread series. Robert Holley, Ph.D., President of The Holley Group, a business consulting and leadership company and a semi-finalist for the Utah Entrepreneur Challenge Mentor, will be the first presenter in the series.
He will be addressing workplace issues that will help businesses and their employees address and prevent violence and harassment that can occur in the workplace.
Those who attend will learn how to identify possible perpetrators, victims and prevention tips in this one-hour seminar that will be held on Friday, Jan. 13, 2006, from 8-9 a.m. at the Davis Applied Technology College.
Although the seminar is free, anyone wishing to attend will need to make a reservation (seating is limited) by calling (801) 593-2359 or (801) 593-2318.
Great Harvest Bread will be supplying the bread for the seminar.
