FARMINGTON — The owners of Station Park released a statement on Thursday clarifying the fact that the company, CenterCal, is not involved with the lawsuit between this city and The Haws Company.

Rather, CenterCal purchased land from The Haws Company in 2007, land that neighbors the property involved in the legal dispute. The Haws Company plans to build a development there called Park Lane Commons.

CenterCal defended Farmington City in the statement.

“CenterCal Properties has worked very hard to develop a relationship of trust with Farmington City and the communities in Davis County, and we look forward to a long-lasting positive association,” said Fred Bruning, chief executive officer of CenterCal. “CenterCal Properties is very proud of what Station Park has brought to the community and we are committed to the positive economic vitality and future development of the City of Farmington. Based on our experience, Farmington City has always acted professionally and in the best interests of its residents.”
