Stolen items recovered; alleged burglar caught

LAYTON — A 32-year-old man is facing multiple counts of burglary and theft.

Brian David Wood was charged last week with three counts of second-degree felony burglary, one count of third-degree felony burglary, one count of third-degree felony theft and three misdemeanor counts of theft.

Court documents say that Layton Police recovered stolen items from pawn shops and storage units that were traced back to Wood. The items included jewelry, fireworks, drill bit sets and a weed trimmer.

Wood will be in court on May 15.
