SYRACUSE — Information on the warning signs of suicide and on how to intervene to prevent a potential suicide will be presented in a special meeting at Syracuse High on Saturday, March 23.

The morning event, which runs from 10 a.m. to noon, is free and open to the public.

It will feature talks by Brad Christensen, director of student services at Davis School District; Syracuse Mayor Jamie Nagle, and representatives from Intermountain Healthcare and Weber State University’s Counseling and Psychological Services Center.

“Any adult who has influence or connection to a school should have the training so we can take care of our children,” said Christensen in a press release. “It’s important for us to talk about this topic.”

Syracuse High is located at 665 S. 2000 West in Syracuse.
