LAYTON – Thanks to some fortunate weather in the past few weeks, one local golf course has decided to re-open.
Swan Lakes Golf Course has announced that it will be open on Thanksgiving Day.
The course will accept tee times until 3 p.m. on the holiday, according to information provided to the Clipper.
“We are so thankful to mother nature for this beautiful November weather, that it’s allowed us to open up again,” said Chad Romney, general manager.
“We will be open on Thanksgiving day until 3 p.m. if the weather remains good to us, and we’ll be taking tee times up until that time.”
The golf course is offering a November special price of nine holes with a cart for $14.
Rates for mini golf and the 18-hole putting course have also been reduced.
Locals can play for $2.50 per person up until Friday, Nov. 30.
“It’s just a little something to say thanks to the customer,” said Romney. “And if the weather holds through the month, it will give people the chance to golf one last time before the snow comes.”
Swan Lakes is located at 850 N. 2200 West in Layton.
