PROVO/SALT LAKE CITY — Brigham Young University and the Church History Department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are co-sponsoring a church history symposium on Thursday,  March 6 and Friday, March 7.

Theme of the symposium is “The Worldwide Church: The Global Reach of Mormonism.”

The conference begins on Thursday in the BYU Conference Center at 9 a.m. and continues until 4:30 p.m. The keynote address will be offered by Terryl L. Givens, professor of literature and religion at the University of Richmond, at 7 p.m.

It continues Friday at the Conference Center in Salt Lake City from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. President Dieter F. Uchtdorf will give the keynote address at 9 a.m.
