Dr. Sara E. Moulton recently received her Ph.D. in educational inquiry, measurement and evaluation from Brigham Young University. She graduated Dec. 14, 2016 and has accepted a research position at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. She studied under the direction of Dr. Ellie Young in the McKay School of Education. Her dissertation research identified improved evaluation and screening methods for children at risk for emotional and behavioral disorders in middle schools.
Dr. Matthew J. Moulton received his Ph.D. in human genetics from the University of Utah. He graduated May 19, 2017 and has accepted a research position at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. He studied under the direction of Dr. Anthea Letsou in the Department of Human Genetics, School of Medicine. He researched the role of sugar-based protein modifications involved in cell-signaling pathways important for embryonic development.
Both doctoral graduates are originally from Centerville and are the children of Fran and Chuck Moulton. They are excited to begin their new careers and look forward to contributing and learning in their new assignments.
