SALT LAKE CITY — The Temple Square Chorale, accompanied by the Orchestra at Temple Square, will perform two nights in its annual spring concert, April 19 and 20 in the Tabernacle.

The program, which begins at 7:30 p.m. has become a springtime tradition.

This year the chorale will sing “Gloria,” by French composer Francis Poulene. Soprano Elizabeth Pike Murdock, a graduate of the Brigham Young University School of Music, will be featured.

The second half of the concert will feature a variety of sacred anthems, including two by Ryan Murphy, associate conductor of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and conductor of the chorale. Other selections will be by John Rutter and Edgar Bainton.

Tickets are available at lds.org/events, by calling 801-570-0080 or by visiting the Conference Center ticket office.
