The trail starts just north of the Huntsman building. There is a bag dispenser at the trailhead to clean up after your dog. Grab what you need and head to the Shoreline Trail. There are many trails heading east from the Shoreline Trail. Find the most used into Georges Hollow and the south drainage. I decide to make a loop to the Living Room and hike to it from the ridgeline. This is a more strenuous route, but has its advantages. You hike in the sunshine where it’s drier, with betters views of the city. Georges Hollow is shady and can be very muddy at times. When taking the ridge to the Living Room, watch for a trail on the left that takes you to the north drainage of Georges Hollow. You know if you’re on the right trail if it starts heading up to the ridgeline. On the ridgeline, stay on it all the way to the Living Room. The Living Room has seating for about 10-15 hikers. After relaxing and taking in the view, take the trail to the junction and head downhill into the south drainage of Georges Hollow. The Living Room, a room with a view, enjoy!
