HILL AFB — The Thunderbirds will be filling the sky with their acrobatic magic this weekend at Hill AFB.

Those wanting to look more ground level can see B-25s and a score of static aircraft displays and a lot more.

It’s all part of what’s called “the Air Show” by most people. The mammoth “Warriors Over the Wasatch: A Legacy of Valor” open house is set for Saturday, May 26 and Sunday, May 27, just before Memorial Day.

It’s impossible to know for sure, but estimates of between 300,000 and 400,000 attendees are common for past shows. Depending on the weather, that many could descend on the base and surrounding environs again, organizers believe.
