FARMINGTON С  A new steak restaurant opened Monday, Aug. 20. at Station Park, and a sushi restaurant is slated to come on board in September.

Parkstone Wood Kitchen opened on Monday, offering steaks, ribs, wood-fired pizza, soup and salad.

The restaurant, located near the Cinemark Theater, has an open floor plan and a year-round patio featuring windowed Nano walls that can open in fair weather or remain closed in winter, according to a press release.

Patio dining will feature a built-in fireplace during cool months.

The restaurant provides a view of the show fountain and garden area.

In addition, Parkstone Wood Kitchen has four large-screen TVs and will offer a variety of beers, said Brad Nelson, the restaurant’s general manager.

Hours will be from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday and 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday.

Sushi Monster will open its second Utah location in Farmington in September near the Cinemark Theater.

The restaurant will offer two menu items the owners believe are not available elsewhere in the state: lobster sashimi and giant clam sashimi.

“We will offer a large selection of sushi and Japanese cuisine from our kitchen, all presented in the beautiful way that Sushi Monster is known for,” said owner Ling Wu.
