KAYSVILLE — The city council here passed a resolution on Tuesday evening saying they fully support the West Davis Corridor Draft Environmental Impact Statement.

“It comports to what the council has at numerous times agreed upon,” said Gil Miller, city councilor.

Alternative B1 fits well with the city’s land uses and land-use plans, states the resolution. It also “maximizes the use of private property and the human benefits while minimizing the adverse impacts to the natural environment,” the resolution states.

The route for the corridor is “beyond Kaysville City’s growth boundary and projected service area,” which earned the city’s full support, it said.

The resolution of support passed unanimously.
