OGDEN — Charles A. Wight will be Weber State University’s new president, the Utah Board of Regents.

He will replace F. Ann Millner, who, after 10 years at the helm of the University, decided to return to teaching in the classroom at Weber State.

Dr. Wight supports graduate students throughout the University of Utah and promotes academic quality via a rigorous system of program reviews, according to a press release from the University.

A 22-member search committee selected Wight from a broad list of candidates.
