But on Wednesday afternoon, the Titans got their revenge by shutting out the Vikings 4-0, dropping Viewmont to 1-4 to start the year.
Viewmont scattered only three hits in the game, out hitting the Titans. However, a three run fourth and another run for Syracuse in their half of the fifth doomed the Vikings in the end.
Viewmont will host Fremont on Tuesday and will travel to Fremont Thursday.
