FARMINGTON — The woman accused of stealing credit cards out of cars parked at Lagoon last summer has been extradited back to Davis County from Los Angeles after she flew back into the country from Mexico.

Angela Crystal Vigil, 23, was arrested at LAX airport on April 22, after customs agents found a warrant had been issued for her arrest from 2nd District Court.

Upon her return to Davis County on Tuesday, Vigil was booked into the Davis County Jail and is bring held in lieu of $15,000 bail.

Vigil and Jake Padilla Jr., 30, are accused of stealing multiple credit cards from vehicles parked at the amusement park on July 14, 2013, according to Centerville Assistant Police Chief Paul Child.

The two allegedly used the credit cards to buy about $1.500 worth of merchandise, including TVs and an iPad at the Centerville Target on the same day.

Child said police found a vehicle the two had allegedly stolen and used on July 14 abandoned in Salt Lake County.

Vigil is charged with second-degree felony theft by receiving stolen property; five counts of unlawful acquisition/possession of a credit card; and one count of unlawful use of a credit card, all third-degree felonies, according to the court website.

Padilla pleaded guilty last August to four third-degree felony counts related to the July 14 incident and was sentenced to up to five years on each count to be served concurrently.
