
WOODS CROSS HIGH School students BreAnna Brewster, Kourtney Compton, Austin Cottam, Emily Donaldson, Chris Gray, Luke Hansen, Brian Hill, Annie Holm, Trent Hyer, Annie Jardine, Aubree Jones, Emily Kime, Maren Laurence, Sam Mecham, Cannon Nicholls, Mackenzie Peay, Matt Perkins, Ben Pope, Jarom Soule, Spencer Soule, Duncan Stewart, Geoff Thatcher, Montana Thompson, Ariuka Tsogzolmaa, Cameron Wall, and Jamie Wood participated in this year’s Model United Nations Conference.
Students Emily Kime and Ariuka Tsogzolmaa were also noted for outstanding participation on the International Court of Justice and the Economic Commission for Africa.
The statewide Model United Nations program is education by simulation during which students research and prepare to represent different countries’ views in debates on international issues. Woods Cross represented both Libya and Italy in the recent conference.
More than 700 students from 30 schools participated.
