LAYTON – Wanda North Bodily, 80, of Layton, UT, passed away Saturday December 15, 2012 surrounded by her family.
She was born November 11, 1932 in Brigham City, daughter of Joseph and Hazel North. She graduated from Box Elder High School. She married Lynn W. Bodily October 11, 1956, he preceded her in death in 1998.
Wanda loved children so much. She was a “grandma” to all. She worked in scouting, primary and PTA. Her flowers in the yard, and Christmas lights were always so important to her. It was her gift to everyone who could see them.
She is survived by three sons, David (Stacy) Bodily, Layton, Danny (Kim) Bodily, Clinton, Darwin (Barbara Bodily, Ogden; two daughters, Hazel (Jeff) Rushton, West Point, Trina Marie Bodily, Layton; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Rex (Virginia) North, Ogden; two sisters, Helen Behnke, Great Falls, MT, Joanne Bagshaw, Salt Lake City.
Preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Robert Bodily and Donald Bodily; three sisters, Ruby Clauson, Marjorie Trease and Nadine Packer; four brothers, Joseph North, Bob North, Don North and Clifford North.
Mom – thanks for always being there for us, you always gave so much to us and for us. We love you so much.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road, Layton, UT. Family will meet friends on Tuesday December 18, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 at the mortuary.
Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton.
