In Logan, Bountiful lost its second preseason game of the season, this time to the Grizzlies.
Wildcats beat Viewmont behind Kidman, Harry
In a battle of cross-town rivals, Woods Cross High School and Viewmont High School met for the third consecutive year Friday night at Woods Cross High School.
This year, Woods Cross defended its home turf by shutting down the Vikings’ offense, scoring 20 points in the third quarter and winning 41-6 to remain unbeaten on the season.

Defensive battle goes to Logan, Bountiful downed 10-3
Bountiful High School’s football team walked onto the Logan High School football field Friday night hoping to put an end to a short two-game losing streak against the Grizzlies.
But in a closely fought defensive battle, the Braves lost 10-3 and extended their losing streak to three games.
After Logan scored a touchdown in the first quarter, Braves’ kicker Haltom Nels converted a field goal in the second to cut the deficit to 7-3 at halftime.
Logan added a field goal in the fourth quarter, and held Bountiful scoreless in the second half for the win.
Chronister, Rose power Darts past Warriors, 28-0
