OGDEN Р Families interested in adding a bit of variety to their wintry Saturdays are invited to “Snow Days,” sponsored by Weber State University’s Department of Visual Arts and Mary Elizabeth Dee Shaw Gallery.

Families can tour the gallery and create arts and crafts projects on Dec. 1, Feb. 2 and March 2, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Kimball Visual Arts Center Lobby. Both English-speaking and Spanish-speaking instructors will be available, according to a press release.

“Kids and parents feel cooped up during the winter,” said Lydia Gravis, Visual Arts Outreach coordinator. “This is a great opportunity to get out of the house on Saturday morning and engage in something creative for a couple of hours.”

The art center is located at 3848 Harrison Blvd. More information on the activity is available at departments.weber.edu/dova/alumni&outreach/snowdays.html.
