SALT LAKE CITY — The work of Latter-day Saint artists from 44 different countries will be on display in the Conference Center Grand Atrium Foyer, 60 W. North Temple, beginning Saturday.

Some 200 works of art, entries in the Church History Museum’s 8th International Art Competition, will be exhibited. Dozens of different media will be represented in the exhibition, but there is a unity that springs from the beliefs held in common by these artists, who are all members of the Church. The exhibit is held only once every three years.

Twenty artists have been awarded $500 merit prizes, and a number of these works have been purchased for the Church collection.

The exhibit will be open to the public Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
