Blast up to NHMU for an Independence Day celebration


Enjoy yard games, hands-on activities, and delicious barbecue, and keep an eye out for Lady Liberty and George Washington. Tour the Natural History Museum of Utah’s award-winning galleries, including our special exhibit Nature’s Ultimate Machines. And, cap the night off with a view of firework shows across the valley from the best seat in town.

The Independence Day celebration will kick off at 6 p.m. on July 4, but feel free to come early to enjoy more time at the Museum.

  • Enjoy music, yard games, and hands-on activities until 10 p.m.
  • Get a plate full of delicious barbecue, available for purchase
