The first event in the Tour of Utah Summer of Cycling is the Salt Lake City Marathon Bike Tour on April 21. Now is the time to secure your spot for the bike tour which has sold out in past years. Get training, support, access to special pro events, a DNA cycling kit, plus entry into the Salt Lake Marathon Bike Tour (April 21), Huntsman 140 (June 16), and the Snowbird Hill Climb (July 28) before culminating in the Ultimate Challenge presented by University of Utah Health on Aug. 11 during the Tour of Utah. The Salt Lake City Marathon Bike Tour follows the same 26.2 mile running course as the marathon in a first of its kind ride in Utah. The non-competitive, family-friendly ride starts at the Olympic Legacy Bridge at the University of Utah and finishes at Library Square. For 2018, the Tour of Utah has developed a four-month cycling training program designed to get you ready to ride in “America’s Toughest One-Day ride”—The Ultimate Challenge presented by University of Utah Health. This all-inclusive program includes group training beginning in March, entry into three of the best local organized riding events throughout the summer, access to four Ride with the Pros events, a Tour of Utah cycling kit from DNA Cycling, and more.
