100th Birthday Erickson

  Norma Tuttle Erickson was born March 12, 1918, in Manti, Utah.  She was the first child of seven born to Lloyd and Vera Tuttle.  She married Austin J Erickson on March 22, 1941, in the Manti Temple.

   She is a graduate of Snow College and Brigham Young University and taught elementary school in Logan and Bountiful.  She has served faithfully in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all of her life in many callings.  She has always been a true example of service and charity.  She and Austin served a mission in Birmingham, Alabama, and also served in the Bountiful Temple.  Austin passed away in March 2001.

    She is the mother of five children:  Barry (Karla) Erickson, Myra (Larry) Hendricks, Joyce (deceased)(Steve Denning), Gene (Pam) Erickson, and Dave (BJ) Erickson.  She has 27 grandchildren and 87 great-grand children.

    Norma will be honored with an open house on March 17, at the LDS Church, 1825 S. 800 East, Bountiful, from 6 to 8 p.m..  Family and friends are invited to join in the celebration.
