Man found guilty of manslaughter in shooting

FARMINGTON—After a four-day trial, a jury found a West Point man guilty of manslaughter in the shooting death of another man in 2017.

According to court documents the jury was given three verdict options: not guilty; guilty of manslaughter under imperfect self-defense; or guilty of murder. The evening of the last day of the trial the jury found Robin William Lundin guilty of manslaughter.

Lundin was accused of shooting Scott Barney on Nov. 5, 2017 in Lundin’s home in West Point.

The defendant was booked into the Davis County Jail following the verdict. Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 14, 2018.
