It will be held Dec. 18 at 9 a.m. at the Davis Conference Center, with proceeds benefiting the Bountiful Community Food Pantry.
The annual event is becoming a Davis County tradition, and will be bigger and better, says Dave Hilliard, director of catering.
“We anticipate 400 guests, have moved into the bigger Eclipse Exposition Hall,” he says, noting there will be everything from a chance for the kids to visit with Santa to an adult and kids-size buffet.
“It will be tailored for kids loaded with all of their favorite foods, positioned so they can load their own plates,” a welcome plus for parents, Hilliard says.
There will be a holiday candy counter, face painting and cookie decorating.
Kids and/or their parents are encouraged to bring cameras to take pictures with Santa.
The Davis High School drum line, Laytones from Layton High School and Beehive Statesman Chorus will perform.
“When you walk in, you’ll feel like you’re walking into a Christmas wonderland,” Hilliard says. “If people haven’t had a holiday-type experience, yet, are too involved in the hustle and bustle, this is a great way for families to feel the spirit.”
Prices are $18.99 for parents, $12.99 for kids ages 4-19; $16.99 for seniors, and free for kids 3 and under.
There will also be many gift certificates awarded.
