Students place in Lego games



SALT LAKE CITY — Two Davis County teams took honors at the first inaugural Utah FIRST LEGO League Championship last month at the University of Utah.

Awards were presented in multiple categories that included Robot, Project and Core Values awards.

A team of sixth graders from Whitesides Elementary in Layton, which called themselves, “Eight Little Einsteins,” won for research in the project awards. And the team from Holbrook Elementary in Bountiful, going by the name of Cyborgs, took overall project award in the same category.
