HILL AIR FORCE BASE -- "Operation Purple" was a way for children with deployed military parents to "kick back" and forget some of the stress. Forty-eight such children participated in the weeklong program at Hill Air Force Base. It included a variety of activities, from visiting Antelope Island and learning to kayak, to gaining tools to relieve stress. "Everyone here is in the same position whether they realize it or not, and so they can relate to each other on that level," said HAFB Youth Center recreational assistant Carole Enriquez.
