BOUNTIFUL -- The Bountiful City cleanup will be held from April 10-14. All trees and brush material must be bundled and tied, boxed or bagged in lengths not longer than 5 feet or weighing more than 50 pounds. The city will not pick up tires, propane tanks, batteries or household hazardous materials such as paints, chemicals or pesticide. The city will gather furniture or appliances. Please place all items on the park strip and not in the gutters. Residents may haul items to the Bountiful landfill for free from April 10-22. The landfill is at 1600 N. 1375 West.



Kaysville plans spring cleanup

KAYSVILLE -- Spring cleanup for Kaysville has been set for Monday, April 10, beginning at 6 a.m., when items should be ready for pick- up. Trucks will go through the city one time only.

All material must be loadable by hand and be placed near the curb, not blocking sidewalks or driveways.

Limbs and branches must be cut in lengths of five feet or less and must be tied together in bundles. Loose items, such as leaves, weeds, grass and shrub trimmings will only be picked up in tied-shut bags or suitable containers.

n Spring cleanup

set for Woods Cross



WOODS CROSS--The city's annual Spring cleanup will be April 8-15.

This year, the cleanup will be held on the same day as residents' usual garbage pick-up. A maximum of one load will be allowed per household.

As in years past, material picked up by the city's public works department will be limited to yard waste and debris, household products, furnishings (mattresses, carpets, cabinets, doors, etc.) and metal items which can be recycled. Refrigerators and freezers must have the freon and compressors removed.

Materials which won't be accepted for curbside pick-up include household waste, liquid or chemical waste, hazardous waste products, building debris, tires, pallets and railroad ties.

Those taking advantage of the service should have the items on the park strip no later than 8 a.m. on the pick-up day. Crews will go through the area only once. A 50-pound maximum weight limit is allowed.

All materials must be separated by chipping material (limbs and branches), boxed, bagged or bundled yard waste and bundled limbs and metal items.
