BOUNTIFUL -- Do you know where Timbuktu is located on the globe? Just ask some Davis County kids, and they'll tell you. Meadowbrook Elementary and Orchard Elementary students recently participated in their schools' geography bees.

At Orchard, students in the geography bee included Keaola Adamson, Allie Eyring, Jeff Giles, Lynsie Allen, Millika Holbrook, Davis Halls, Ben Smith, Cole Osborne and Jacob Cho. Jeff Giles was Orchard's proud winner.

At Meadowbrook's geography bee, winners were David Higginson, 1st place; Eliza Thacker, 2nd place; and Riley Loveless, 3rd place.

By the way, Timbuktu is in Mali, West Africa.
