BOUNTIFUL — DECA students from Viewmont High working to finance a trip to the national competition in Florida next week, are holding a fund-raiser Saturday to help pay for the trip.

Mattresses of all shapes and sizes will be for sale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, in the commons area at Viewmont High School, 120 W. 1000 N., in Bountiful.

Options include all sizes from twin to king, and styles such as pillow-tops, latex and memory foam. Mattresses are priced at discounts and students will receive 50 percent of the price.

“They’ve been working hard,” said Breckon Heywood, advisor, of the 14 students who won the state competition in March.

Of those, nine wrote 30-page written reports and gave 20-minute presentations on their projects.

Eleven of the students will represent the state at the national competition in Orlando.

All mattresses are new and include warranties.
