Youngsters are improving reading skills with the annual summer reading programs offered at each library.
Young adults are vying for prizes through the punch card program which runs through July 20.
Anyone age 12-17 can participate. Punch cards are available at the front desks of libraries and completed cards can be turned in for weekly prizes. A final grand prize drawing will be held July 20.
Adults and families are enjoying the guest lecture series at the South Branch. Upcoming presenters include graphic artist, Lewis Fields and Mimi from Night Flight Comics, July 13; and Charles Osgood, renown television and radio commentator and news reporter on July 15.
