The event will feature the work of local artists who will demonstrate their talent along Main Street sidewalks.
StreetFest will also feature food, a sidewalk sale and live music.
"We have more artists participating this year in StreetFest," says coordinator Emma Dugal. "We expect them to stir up lots of interest as people watch art being created before their eyes."
Shoppers will also have easy access to wares offered by Main Street merchants.
"It's nice to bring the community together, so people have a nice thing to do in Bountiful," says Janet Wortley, of the Main Street Merchants Association and co-owner of Me and My House and Carr's Stationery.
"When we moved back to Bountiful that was my whole goal, to make people aware of and proud of their city.
"If people support these things (like StreetFest), more things will happen. Sidewalk Days is a huge tradition in Bountiful.
"It has cooled a bit in past years, but working with SummerFest has made it really come together. It should be a party -- a festival to bring people together."
StreetFest is scheduled to lead into the Bountiful SummerFest International, which is slated for August 12-14 at the Bountiful City Park, 200 W. 400 N.
While shopping, and viewing artwork, people will be able to taste funnel cake, Polish dogs and homemade french fries.
Visitors will also be treated to live music from local bands. The bands will perform during the day and will lead up to the popular Street Dance with the International SummerFest performers from 7-9 p.m. on Main Street.
Coordinators say the public will also be able to meet with international visitors and even learn some dance steps while they're at it.
The Street Dance marks the official opening of the festival and will be followed by performances at Bountiful City Park.
Artists scheduled to create art along Main Street are: Steve Sheffield, Anne Marie Oborn, Rob Adamson, Susan Gallacher, Arlo Johnson, Barbara Dowdle, Stan Elmer, Colleen Parker, Rebecca Lee, Rose Brontmire, Beverly Mangum, Micahl Onyon, David Koch, Byron Johnson, Sherry Meidell, Jan Board-man, Yevgeniy Zolotsev, Larry Wade and Lester B. Lee.
Each of these artists will donate a work of art to be auctioned later at the Bountiful SummerFest Inter-national.
