BOUNTIFUL -- "Illustionary artist," Michelangelo will perform Monday, March 8 at 7 p.m. at the Bountiful Performing Arts Center, 745 South Main Street, Bountiful. The Evening Out program is open to the public free of charge. Michelangelo has been creating illusionary art for more than 25 years in Europe, South America, Canada and the U.S. Locally, he has appeared with the Utah Symphony and was the only illusionist selected to perform at events for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. "The most rewarding kind of magic brings together many art forms and attempts to bring wonder and delight to audiences," says Michelangelo. He enjoys a creative challenge and sees magic as something more that just tricks to fool people. It should also explore the human side of life and inspire people to find the magic in themselves. His company, Michelangelo Magic Works, Inc. designs and builds original illusions and theatrical effects. He has consulted on stage shows from New York to Los Angeles and has created "next generation" illusions for performers in Germany, Great Britain, Japan and the United States.
