KAYSVILLE --The 2004-2005 All Davis-County boys and girls basketball teams have been selected. Local basketball coaches from Woods Cross, Viewmont, Davis, Bountiful, Clearfield, Layton and Northridge voted for the All-County players. For the boys, Viewmont's Sol Jensen was selected as MVP, as well as on the first team as a center. Fellow Viking Chris Romney, a guard, also made the team.

Woods Cross' Bryson Riddle is the lone 4-A representative, making the team as a forward. Northridge's Andrew Jordan is the other forward selection.

Clearfield's Devin Reid fills out the team, selected by the coaches as a first-team guard.

For the girls, Clearfield's Haley Hall was chosen as the All-County MVP, and also made the team as a guard.

Three girls from Layton's state championship team made the squad --guard Ashley McFarland, forward Danielle McDonald and center Katie King.

The other selection is Viewmont's Airial Salvo, who played both forward and center for the Vikings.
