DAVIS COUNTY -- The Davis County Youth of Promise are taking applications for the 2004-05 school year. The program is open to all youth 14 years of age and older who want to make a difference in their communities.
YOP is a county-wide organization involved in a variety of service projects including the building of the Sept. 11 monument at the Utah State University State Botanical Gardens.
The group is in the process of planning their annual youth summit open to all youth in the county. The summit is held each year at Northridge HighSchool, 2430 N. 400 West, Layton. Leadership, teaming and service activities are interwoven with fun and food for a great day.
