Cindy Newman and Joseph Davis were united in marriage on July 9, 2005, in the Bountiful LDS Temple. A reception was held in their honor at Ivy Lane Reception Center later that evening.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Marilyn Newman of Roy. She is attending Weber State University and will graduate with a degree in business education in the spring. She is currently employed by the Continuing Education Department of Weber State University. Cindy served an LDS Omaha, Nebraska Mission at Winter Quarters.

Parents of the groom are John and MarRae Davis of Syracuse. He is a graduate of Weber State and is currently employed with the retirement benefits group of AXA Advisors. He served in the Cambodia Phnom Penh LDS mission.

The new couple will live in Farmington after their honeymoon to San Diego.
