Editor:
Listed is a record of shame, of the U.S. Supreme Court and other judges.
1962: Engel V. Vitale -- Court restricts prayer in school.
1973: Roe V. Wade -- Abortion judged legal.
1980: Stone V. Graham -- Display of the Ten Commandments struck down in public schools.
1985: Wallace V. Jaffree -- The court overturns a law setting aside a moment of silence for voluntary prayer in public schools.
1992: Lee V Weisman -- Court rules against clergy-led prayer at high school graduation ceremonies.
1994-- Madsen V. Women's Health Center -- Court upholds the creation of so-called "buffer zones" around abortion clinics, severely restricting pro-life free speech.
2000: Santa Fe Indian School District V. Doe -- The Court over rules a Texas law allowing high school students to pray at athletic events.
2003: Lawrence V. Texas -- The court strikes down a Texas law prohibiting sodomy.
2003: -- Glassroth V. Moore -- The 11th U.S. Circuit Court of appeals rules that a monument to the Ten Commandments placed in Alabama's judiciary building must be removed, setting the stage for a Supreme Court show down.
It is past time to recall all judges who re-interpret the U.S. Constitution to fit the demands of the enemies of freedom.
Mr. and Mrs. R.P. Sorensen, Bountiful
