Farmers honors top agents

BOUNTIFUL -- Nine Davis County area agents have been honored by Farmers Insurance Group for their outstanding sales achievements during 2003, reported Pamela L. Sloop, district manager.
They have been invited to attend the 2004 annual meeting of Farmers' top sales producers, according to Roy Smith, vice president of sales.
Agents named include Sherrie and Brian Eichmeier, Kaysville; Way Werner, Woods Cross; Keith Buxton, Bountiful; Scott Price, Farmington; Ryan Reisbeck, Layton; Bob Hackmeister, Kaysville, Ann Fadel, Centerville; and Dixon Reisbeck, Layton.
Also cited were Mark Turner, Ogden; Tammy Hanna, Roy; and Barrey Bigler, Riverdale.
The Topper Club convention, to be held in San Diego, Calif., will give top Farmers district managers and agents an opportunity to discuss local and national trends and activities affecting the insurance business in their communities.
The above agents have joined the Topper Club's elite roster of members who provide quality insurance services to their customers.
Farmers Insurance is Utah's second largest insurer.

Big 5 unaffected by site sale

LAYTON -- The Big 5 Sporting Goods location in Layton will not be affected by the sale of the retail space it occupies.
Commerce CRG, a Cushman & Wakefield Alliance Member, has negotiated the sale of the property located at 1130 North Main in Layton. Big 5 will remain in the space, considered one of the company's top producing locations.
The buyer of the site is B.F. Enterprises, LLC of Salt Lake City. The seller is located in Sonoma, Calif.
Agent Kip Paul negotiated the deal for Commerce CRG.
