Fathers' conference set for April

The Family Enrichment Center presents "A Father's Touch," a conference on fatherhood, Sunday, April 24, 2004, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Family Enrichment Center, 320 South 500 East, Kaysville.
All fathers, young and old in Davis County, are invited to join the FEC for a day of learning and sharing on a variety of topics of importance to fathers and father figures.
Keynote speaker for the event will be Bryan Bowles, Superintendent of Davis School District.
Workshops include financial counseling, child safety, media and its effects on children, coping with the stresses of fatherhood, father of a special needs child, employment resources, understanding the development of children and more.
Refreshments and prizes will also be offered at the event which promises to be a great investment in the children and dads of Davis County.
