Davis' Sorensen sets state record in breaststroke

KAYSVILLE - Although only a freshman, Davis' Chad Sorensen shattered the 5-A state record in the 100-yard breastroke at the state finals in Provo last weekend. His time of 1:02:75 broke the previous record of 59:65 held by Brian Wood of Brighton in 1994. Sorensen now has three more years to improve on his record-setting time.
