Editor:

Someday we will realize that everyone is uniquely different.

Someday we will realize that punishing or insulting others for those differences is regression. Someday we will realize that the actions of others do not ultimately determine our happiness.

Someday we will stop blaming others for our own actions. Someday those who hold traditional values in high esteem will not be called "immature." Someday we will all realize that we are the same, regardless of our bank account or public status. Someday we will realize that movie stars are not authorities on a particular subject simply because they are good at acting.

Someday all parents will realize that the ultimate responsibility for their children's education belongs to the family, not the public school system.

Someday we will get on with our lives and work together to make a better tomorrow for our children, one that is hopefully much better than today.

Why can't that day be today?
