Centerville -- It's still a waiting game in Centerville. Retail giant Wal-Mart still has several steps to complete before it presents its latest proposals to the city's planning commission. Currently the company is completing its traffic litigation plan, the final subdivision plan, and the development agreement. The date for the public meeting with the planning commission has yet to be set. "When you have about five attorneys drafting an agreement, you can imagine it takes a while to prepare," said Cory Snyder, head of Centerville's Community Development Department.
"The layout for the Centerville Wal-Mart was decided on last December. The only thing that will change is the architecture," he said.
The final site plan will be approved by the planning commission, and the others will move on to the city council to be approved.
