ATK racer Chilly White, 40, of San Diego Calif., represented Team USA at the 2002 ISDE in Czechoslovakia and again in 2004 in Poland, both times making the podium with bronze and silver medals.
Former desert racing champion and ATK CEO Frank White, 47, of Bountiful Utah, opted to race the Open Expert Class against riders half his age.
"The last National Enduro I raced was the Greenhorn back in 1974, long before most of these kids were even born," Frank White said.
"We've had so much snow in Utah this spring that I've been able to train only in the desert. Desert training is so different than riding in the mountains. After six hours I started to get really fatigued, however I got some extra wind when I started seeing younger riders drop out of the race. I was very fortunate to win."
White later laughed about his condition after the race.
"I'm going to contact Advil next week to see if they want to be a sponsor for our Racing Team."
