There is a problem for customers of many of the local fast food establishments in Bountiful, which the consumers have the power to stop -- not accepting checks for their merchandise. I feel strongly these businesses should be boycotted in our community. Many honest people wish to purchase things with a check; they are being punished because they choose to do so, for the ease and convenience of the business owner. Why should honest people be punished and inconvenienced because of the dishonesty of a few?
The customers' convenience is forgotten for convenience of the business...serving the customers' convenience has become a lost art, not thought of by business any more.
We have the power to stop this by not doing business with businesses who wish to discriminate in their dealings with customers.
