Breaking new ground in North Salt Lake

Yesterday the South Davis Metro Fire Agency broke ground for a fire station west of Redwood Road in North Salt Lake. The new building should be completed sometime next spring. In the past cities in South Davis had built firehouses too close to one another. The fire agency decided to move from the station in West Bountiful to put more distance between stations.
