Miss Kaysville-Fruit Heights Pageant to return

After a five-year hiatus, the Miss Kaysville-Fruit Heights scholarship pag-eant will be held in August. The pageant is looking for contestants, who must be between the ages of 17 and 24 and will compete in interview, talent, evening wear, and physical fitness categories. The pageant will also have two new competitions this year. The Miss Outstanding Teen of Kaysville-Fruit Heights competition is for girls from 12 to 16 years old, who will compete in an essay contest, interview, and talent. The Little Miss of Kaysville Fruit-Heights competition involves a short interview and is for girls from 8 to 10 years old. The winners of the titles of Miss Kaysville-Fruit Heights and Miss Outstanding Teen of Kaysville-Fruit Heights will have the opportunity to compete at the state level.

The Little Miss winner will escort Miss Kaysville-Fruit Heights to the Miss Utah competition.

All winners will receive cash scholarship awards and other gifts.

An orientation meeting for contestants and parents will be held on June 3 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Kaysville City Hall.
